Last summer belonged to those feisty nu ravers Klaxons. This summer will be owned by Castle Donington's very own, very weird, and very badical, Late Of The Pier. Their debut album Fantasy Black Channel will be released on Parlophone Records August 12th. Badical Beats has recieved an advanced copy, which I might add has been inducing eargasms all over our office. The single "Heartbeat" will be released a week prior to the LP on August 5th. We just so happen to have the video for "Heartbeat" as well, which is nothing short of amazing. Loaded with fun effects, Space Odyssey-ish visuals, and even exploding heads! Yes! Their sound can be described as a pinch of Hot Chip, thrown in the fire with the love child of Hercules & Love Affair and !!! (Chk Chk Chk).
