The Campaign to Save Paste

Unless you've been hiding in a cave for the last year, you probably know the economy has taken a severe nose dive, and with it, music magazines. I don't know about you, but there is something about sifting through a music magazine that is magical. When I was growing up, I'd practically stalk the mailman on a day by day basis in hopes that he would drop off my latest issue. Sometimes a magazine is the best way to discover new artists. It's great reading about artists on paper (imagine that), and seeing some of the incredible photographs that come to life in a magazine. Unfortunately, music magazines are becoming victim to our great recession. The big time advertisers are tightening up their budgets, and would rather "wait out the recession" than fork out the dough that helps keep the smaller mags alive.

One of the better indie magazines out there is going under, and they're on a mission to bounce back. Paste Magazine has recently launched a "Campaign to Save Paste" in which they're collecting donations from fans, friends, and readers to help keep them afloat. Everyone who donates will have access to a collection of rare mp3s and goodies which were donated by over 70 stellar artists. And get this.... donate $350 or more and Paste will give you a LIFETIME SUBSCRIPTION to their Magazine.

Head on over to the DONATION PAGE now and help save a piece of music history.
