Badical Beats was lucky enough to receive the full length promo copy of the new album 4 from the Swedish outfit DUNGEN. After giving it a couple listens through, it's safe to say that the band has certainly evolved from their previous recordings. The new record is very jam-oriented, showcasing a lot of different instrumentals parts and their very "vintage" tape-recorded sound. Throw in melodic, harmonious vocals that only a native speaker or a seasoned DUNGEN fan can interpret, and you've got yourself an interesting listen. The single below, dubbed "Mina Damer Och Fasaner" is a bit more structured, and if you listen closely, you can hear hints of RATATAT and MGMT in there. Listen.
