This excellent cover of an even more excellent original came soaring into my inbox a few days back and I had to share it with the badical kids. It's a version of David Bowie's "Space Oddity" by the lovely electronica goddess from Paris, Emilie Simon.

You might have been lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the stunning Emilie Simon performing live in LA at the Roxy last week. If not, you can catch her doing a NYC residency throughout October at The Cutting Room. If you own any of her records you'll know what I'm talking about. If not, then I suggest starting with her self-titled record, then move on to La Marche de L'empereur, and then to her most recent release,The Flower Book. They will all blow your mind.
