MP3: Radiohead - "Nude (Holy Fuck Remix)"
Thanks to the tip from Gorilla vs. Bear, it appears as though Radiohead is having a remix contest for their track "Nude", where fans and musicians can purchase the stems for "Nude" and upload their own remixes. In the lead is a remix from Canadian electronic giants HOLY FUCK, who have come up with quite a nice rendition of the track, which can be streamed and downloaded below. Once again, we're amazed at how Radiohead stays ahead of the curve in terms of finding creative ways to monetize their music.

well that's one way of putting it. Me, I think a competition should be free to enter. why the hell should i pay for the privilege of promoting iTunes and Radiohead?
There doesn't seem to be any check on the uploads for this competition. I urge everyone reading this to upload any MP3s they have onto that competition site. Their own songs, other people's songs, whatever... anything so long as it DOESN'T feature any Radiohead samples...
(oh and Holy Fuck make pretty boring wallpaper music for a band with such a punk name)
i dunno man, i gotta argue against you on holy fuck. i think they have a pretty rad thing going live, and their remixes keep getting better and better.
radiohead essentially "charging" for the contest can be considered sketchy, but my point was that they're coming up with different ways to try and make money from their art, money they work for and deserve.
interesting idea about uploading your own content. i'm all for it and think it'd be hilarious.
